Jordan's wacky Facebook parody of Mariah Carey hit All I Want For Christmas goes viral

Nevin Farrell

She might be hungry for fame, but internet singing sensation Jordan Humphries could never have dreamed she would be Christmas number one for 200,000 Facebook users.

The Lisburn make-up artist's funny festive rendition of Mariah Carey All I Want For Christmas Is You has raced up the Facebook viewing charts in the run-up to Christmas.

For a laugh, the 24-year-old changed the lyrics to create her own version of the hit called All I Want For Christmas Is Food!

Wearing a Christmas jumper with a large festive pudding on the front, Jordan's song mentions all her favourite food vices including chocolate, crisps and bread.

She sings about having "locked away her skinny jeans" and not wanting to be fed any "leaves or seed" in the video.

Jordan said last night: "I send my boyfriend silly wee videos of myself singing all the time and he's always amazed at the amount I eat.

"So when I sent him a video the other night I changed All I Want for Christmas Is You to 'Food' for a laugh- the whole process from getting the idea to finishing recording was about 25 minutes, tops.

"I've done a couple of parodies before so I just put it up on Facebook assuming only my friends would see it... now I'm on 200,000 views!

"I'm delighted with everybody's response and have received some lovely comments and messages. I just love making people laugh."

Jordan has been in the spotlight before. She has appeared on ITV's Take Me Out searching for Mr Right, as well as on Countdown.

And in 2008 she came second in Sunday Life's Covergirl search. She has worked as a model with Style Academy.

There has been a big reaction to her singing on social media.

One Facebook user said: "I just love this, and your crazy selection of Christmas jumpers hahaha!" Other users said the video was "Brilliant!" and another said: "Brilliant love the song u jus made it even better."
