Irish man's charming video captures the spirit of fatherhood Newsdesk Newsdesk

No one said being a dad was going to be easy but one Irish father has made an adorable video showing why the effort is worth it.

In his video, Cork filmmaker Patrick Corr (28) explains what being a father is about and why despite the hardships he would not change a single thing about his life.

Speaking to all would-be dads, the 28-year-old describes the profound change fatherhood has had on his life.

"You are never on time. Your entire wardrobe is now comprised almost exclusively of over sized T-Shirts and sweat pants,” he says.

"The baby always eats first, that is non-negotiable.

"[And] Oh your Iphone is now his chewy toy."

The young father, who alongside his wife documented the birth of his son Benji last December, gets quite the shock towards the end of the two-minute video when his partner steps in to make a surprise announcement.
