A Waterford man's antics have gone viral after he challenged disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong to a race - on his tiny child's bicycle.
The amused American was obviously tickled by the Irishman's public dare and provisionally agreed to the joust.
In an exchange on Twitter, Michael from Waterford said he would race Armstrong "anytime, anywhere".
But shrewd Armstrong gave Michael a bit of a tip: "May wanna air up that rear tyre first".
.@lancearmstrong Nice try but according to a book I read, it's not about the bike. Meet me here at 7pm and we'll race. No cheating this time

Michael added: "Meet me here at 7pm and we'll race. No cheating this time."
Lance replied: "It'll be a level playing field, just like the old days."
.@lancearmstrong I know you're banned from competing professionally but I will race you anytime, anywhere. pic.twitter.com/Y7QxTQ8Iov
