WATCH: 'Flower grandpa' (85) steals the show before wedding ceremony Newsdesk Newsdesk

It can be difficult to include all of the family into wedding plans, but one American bride found the perfect way to include her grandfather.

You may have heard of a flower girl, but we bet you've never heard of a flower grandfather.

Bride-to-be Jen Briskin (29) really wanted her 85-year-old grandfather Stanley to feel included in her big day, when the idea came to her.

"The idea of having him be a 'flower girl' started out as a joke, and I teased him that I was going to have him wear a tutu and patent leather shoes like a typical flower girl," she told Country Living.

"He liked to joke that this would make him 'go viral!' My whole family thought that I was crazy but I couldn't let it go. I wanted our wedding to be memorable and different without being cheesy and I thought that this would be the perfect addition to our ceremony."

The video, filmed by Daneman Video Productions, has certainly took off, with close to 200,000 views since it was published on October 17th.
