Thirsty elephant hoovers up toilet water
Anyone attempting to use a toilet in a campsite in Botswana might get a big trunk of a surprise, it seems.
Elephants at the Elephant Sands Lounge in Botswana can take a fancy to the toilet water when they're thirsty.
Like the elephant pictured here, they pop their trunks over the toilet wall and drink the water whether the units are occupied or not.
Campers get the fright of their lives when a trunk drops in.
"It’s one of the best experiences you can ask for in the wild and as close to nature as you’re ever likely to get," Carina Blofeld told Barcroft TV.
