RTE are looking for a 10-year-old Ireland's Fittest Family fan who wrote to the show hoping to be 'Ireland's Fittest Kid'.

Host Mairead Ronan shared the little girl's letter on Twitter and asked her 84,000 followers if anyone knows a 'Fitzgerald family' in Castleknock, Dublin.

The letter reads:

"Dear RTE One,

Do you know the way that you have Ireland’s Fittest Family? Can you make Ireland’s Fittest Kid? In groups of five. Not in one family, two, three or for one family. Who ever enters has to pick friends or family. If you do, can I have five places in the competition please. Just make the things smaller and lighter.

Please write back, I am 10."

Unfortunately, there is no return address so Mairead made the shout out on Twitter in the hopes of tracking her down.

She wrote, "HELP... Does anyone in the Castleknock area know a Fitzgerald family whose little girl might have written this letter to RTÉ about @FittestFamily? We’d love to get in touch with her parents to arrange a small Xmas surprise....if you do let @KiteEnt know!"

Spread the word and make a little girl's Christmas!
