Toyota gave the 'Real Doc Brown' a chance to meet his real-life heroes.

Toyota have published a short clip which scientist Mischa Pollack show Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd how to "turn trash into fuel".

Pollack has been a fan of the films for years and said that he was "honoured" for the opportunity to meet his heroes as part of Toyota's campaign.

"I'm a huge back to the future fan... especially all that crazy technology. That's why I got into science and ended up getting my masters in aerochemical engineering".

"I'm thrilled Toyota has chosen me to meet my two heroes and show them a piece of technology that might inspire them".

Taking to the comments after the video was posted, Mischa wrote an emotional message to his heroes and fellow fans of the trilogy.

"Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would have the opportunity to work with two of my heroes on such a once-in-a-timeline project. It was a great privilege that Toyota let me part of this tremendous campaign and I wish them the best of luck in moving this technology forward".
