ASOS are totally owning the embarrassing typo adorning 17,000 of their plastic bags
Whoever signed off on the copy for ASOS's plastic bags might be feeling a little sheepish today.
A whopping 17,000 plastic bags for the online retailer were printed bearing a glaring typo.
Instead of 'discover fashion online', they read, 'discover fashion onilne'.
Ok, so we *may* have printed 17,000 bags with a typo. We’re calling it a limited edition. pic.twitter.com/wTpKNid4V5— ASOS (@ASOS) March 21, 2018
However, it looks like their job may be safe as the company is owning the mistake, sharing a pic of the bags online with the caption, "Ok, so we *may* have printed 17,000 bags with a typo. We’re calling it a limited edition."
Indeed, some followers suggest people will end up selling the bags online for '1000s' and shared their own unfortunate mistakes.
I work in fashion as well....I think we've had our share of typos like "shite shirt" instead of "white shirt" 😂😳 pic.twitter.com/yWVI4bPqTc— Michelle Lauritzen (@MELauritzen) March 21, 2018
Don’t feel too bad, we h*ckin spelled ribbon wrong and just rolled with it. 💁♀️— Wribbn (@wribbn) March 21, 2018

It reminds me of this typo spotted on my local high street. I wonder if anyone else noticed...? 😂 pic.twitter.com/O8lWCbj2Hv
