When it comes to the Academy Awards, actor Leonardo DiCaprio is always the bridesmaid, but never the bride.

Despite being nominated for the 'Best Actor' accolade five times for films including The AViator, Wolf of Wall Street and Blood Diamond, he has always left the ceremony empty handed.

Of course he's not alone. Many of Hollywood's most established talents such as Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, Robert Downey Jr and Glenn Close have never bagged a golden statue either.

However, that won't soften the blow for Leo should he stumble upon this clip which is going viral online.

In a short video which is doing the rounds, an anonymous Oscar winner is taunting the celebrated actor by waving his/her statuette in front of his image.

It is believed that an Imgur used calling themself 'IHasAnOscar' is behind the video.

Two months ago, IHasAnOscar uploaded an image with their award placed in front of a scene of Leo acting in Revolutionary Road.

But the question remains, is the account belonging to a rival actor? Or a director, a costume designer, or producer?

There have been some 3,000 statues bestowed upon industry professionals since 1929 - so that's a pretty big pool of people to chose from.
