Ant and Dec’s 100th Takeaway show tops Saturday night viewing figures

More than seven million people tuned in to watch Ant and Dec’s show.

Presenting duo Ant and Dec have plenty to celebrate after the 100th episode of their show Saturday Night Takeaway dominated the television ratings.

The milestone episode of the popular variety programme was watched by 7.8 million viewers on Saturday.

The figures show the ITV programme had a 35% share of the audience, and was the most watched show of the night.

This is the programme’s highest audience since the finale of the 2006 series.

The show also had the biggest 16-34 audience so far this year, with 1.4 million viewers and a 45% share of 16-34s.

The Voice, also on ITV, was the next most watched show. The singing competition drew 5.3 million viewers and had a 26% share of the audience.
