DataSec 2017 Conference

The agenda and speakers for the DataSec 2017 conference, which takes place on May 3rd in the RDS Concert Hall have been announced, with speakers from across Europe attending to review all aspects of the upcoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The GDPR will become law in May 2018 and will be the biggest change in data protection rules to occur in Ireland. It will apply to all businesses, large and small, and will bring in significant changes in how consumer data is stored and protected, with serious fines for non-compliant organisations. 

Speakers at the conference have been identified as among the leading experts in GDPR in Europe and will cover comprehensively the legal, ethical and practical impacts and changes of the legislation will bring, giving conference delegates a comprehensive overview of all you need to know about GDPR, including:
