39 percent of respondents to the 'Count Us In' poll named the A&E crisis as the number one issue in the country in advance of the General Election.

25 percent voted for Water Charges, while 22 percent consider repealing the eighth amendment to be the hot button issue voters need to consider when casting their votes.

Twitter user Kevin O' Sullivan wrote that 'homelessness and rent insanity' were the biggest issues while Niall Smullen wrote 'USC charges and rent control'.
