Strong investor interest in North wind energy bond
Dublin tech investor BVP has reported strong interest in its new wind energy bond, which invests in the Northern Irish wind sector.
BVP managing director Elliott Griffin says: "We believe this is one of the first income-generating fully secured products in the wind sector, so the strong investor interest – particularly from self-administered and ARF pension investors – isn't that surprising." The company is targeting €2m worth of investment for the bond. It says the NI wind energy companies have an edge because they enjoy support from the British Government.
