Former Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh’s fashion label has gone into liquidation with debts of £548k (€617k).

The reality TV star, who is a close friend of Meghan Markle, launched the label, Cammac, four years ago for fashion website Asos.

However, despite her legion of social media followers, the fashion label has not been a success, the UK Evening Standard has reported.

Ms Mackintosh, who’s family were behind confectionery giant Mackintosh’s (today owned by Nestle), has reportedly lost thousands of pounds herself, with her Cammac Venture business owed £178,000 from the collapse, the Evening Standard reported.

In the liquidation papers Ms Mackintosh said: 'Despite our efforts and being a top seller with a number of our stockists, the financial climate in the fashion industry has proved immensely challenging and the business is no longer sustainable.'

Earlier this week healthy food blogger ‘Deliciously Ella’ closed her cafe in South London after less than a year of trading.
