Local tourism gets boost with latest air links

The first flight on Flybe's new route from Manchester to Waterford took off yesterday, beginning a service that will fly four times weekly. Passengers flying from Waterford can now book flights to Aberdeen, Dusseldorf, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Nice, Norwich, Paris and Southhampton, by transferring at Manchester. Waterford Airport CEO Graham Doyle says this opens up "a market of huge potential for us" in terms of incoming tourism.
