Inside Battersea Power Station: £6m penthouses in development sold by NAMA last year
PENTHOUSE apartments at Battersea Power station will sell for £6m (€7.3m) – a site once the jewel in the crown of Treasury Holdings businessmen Johnny Ronan and Richard Barrett.
It was sold by NAMA and Lloyds bank last year to a consortium of three of Malaysia’s biggest firms -SP Setia, Sime Derby and the Employee’s Provident Fund- for £400m.
Studios start at £338,000 and occupancy is planned for 2016 with potential buyers to register interest today.
The 39-acre site overlooks 400 metres of London's River Thames and the complex will include a theatre and offices as well as a gym, shops and a spa.
A total of 800 new luxury apartments will be on sale costing up to £6m for one of the nine penthouse suites.
The development is designed by Uruguayan architect Rafael Vinoly.
