Green goes for 'Posh' market in Mayfair
One of Victoria Beckham's favourite fashion designers, Roland Mouret, is to open a London operation in a Mayfair property that AIB sold to Green Property last year for around £6.7m (€7.6m).
Agent to the stars, 19 Entertainment -- which also acts for 'Posh Spice' Ms Beckham (pictured) and her soccer star husband David -- has agreed to pay a rent of £45 per sq ft to Green Property for the entire 6,000 sq ft corner period building at 8 Carlos Place, London W1.
The agency is headed by Simon Fuller who is also the producer of a number of TV shows such as 'American Idol' as well as acting for Roland Mouret.
AIB had previously acquired control of 8 Carlos Place following legal action against a previous owner, Achilleas Kallakis's Pacific Group.
Meanwhile, also in the sought-after area of London W1, Paddy McKillen's Clarendon Properties has secured Japanese advertising giant Dentsu as a pre-let tenant for offices at 10 Hills Place.
Dentsu is taking 11,200 sq ft on a 10-year lease at £43.75 per sq ft, with 12 months rent-free.
Also in London, a private Irish investor is asking what is considered a bullish price of £32.5m for Finlaison House, EC4.
And because the 31,000 sq ft building is let to the British government's Actuary Department for a long lease until 2023, the Irish investor is hoping that a buyer will accept a yield of only 4.87pc.
