'Great, more people more money' - Saudi crown prince satisfied with 'Davos in the Desert' investment conference
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said on Tuesday he was satisfied with the Future Investment Initiative conference as he toured the venue.
"Great, more people more money," he told reporters.
Many companies refrained from sending their executive to the conference in Saudi Arabia, dubbed the "Davos in the Desert", following the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
The Future Investment Initiative forum is the kingdom’s first major event on the world stage since the journalist’s death.
Saudi Arabia, which for weeks maintained Mr Khashoggi had left the consulate, acknowledged on Saturday he was killed there in a "fistfight".
