The US Federal Reserve will be very much in the spotlight in the coming week.
Minutes from the Fed's November meeting will emerge and 10 Fed committee members, including chairman Jerome Powell, will speak at an event on Wednesday. In Brussels, European Central Bank (ECB) president Mario Draghi is due to address the European Parliament's committee for economic and monetary affairs today, while the EU Monitoring Agricultural Resources service publishes its monthly bulletin on crop progress and weather conditions in Europe, also today.
Elsewhere, G20 finance ministers and central bankers meet in Argentina on Friday. The host nation's government has declared a holiday to limit traffic and protests.
At home, Swiss-Irish food group Aryzta is due to release its quarter one trading update this morning.
This is the first update from the company since its shareholders marginally approved a near €800m capital hike.
UDG Healthcare releases its financial year 2018 results tomorrow, while on Thursday Britvic will release full 2018 results, and Irish Continental Group will issue a trading update.
Wednesday sees the release of the retail sales figures for October as well as the overseas travel figures, for the same month, from the Central Statistics Office.
