Inclusive – and cheaper – fare makes booking flights easier
EASYJET has launched a new "inclusive" fare, targeting corporate passengers who are crying out for easier booking processes. The new fare includes one checked-in bag and seat selection, but at a cheaper price than purchasing these products separately. They can only be booked through Easyjet's own website and certain travel agents.
The budget carrier has just launched two new routes from Northern Ireland – but has cancelled a third.
From summer 2014, it will introduce new flights from Belfast to Jersey in the Channel Islands and Bordeaux in south-west France. Seats for both go on sale next month.
However, it will cancel its Belfast to Southend service from January of next year. It appears the Southend route had been underperforming.
In even more Easyjet news, the carrier has now launched mobile-phone boarding passes at its biggest UK base, Gatwick. The system allows passengers to download their boarding pass on to their iPhone or Android mobile device without the need for a paper copy.
