Working the social networks Linkedin

DID you know that the average LinkedIn user earns over €100,000? It clearly is a place to hang out if you are looking to do business!

Let's say you are a consultant looking to take advantage of what LinkedIn has to offer.

Your highest priority will be to rank within LinkedIn searches for the services that you offer. To do this, follow these steps.

Figure out the keywords that most represent searches for your services.

Fill in your profile 100 per cent. If you do any less, it has a serious impact on rankings.

In the 'Headline', use "" between all of the keywords associated with your business.

You then include the keywords in as natural a way as possible in your 'Summary', 'Specialities', 'Experience', 'Skills and Expertise' and your 'Education' if applicable.

Request recommendations from your current connections with the same keywords included in their text.

Include a professional slideshare presentation about your business.

Set up a company page and have any employees create separate LinkedIn accounts and have everyone interact and comment to assist with page ranking.

Join groups in your niche.

For rapid results look into using LinkedIn's 'pay per click'.
