Paddy Cosgrave's MoneyConf is expected to pull in close to 5,000 people over next three days.

Among the speakers at the RDS event in Dublin beginning today are Taoiseach Leo Varadkar; Sarah Friar, CFO of credit card processing company Square; and Sébastien de Brouwer, chief policy officer at the European Banking Federation.

Also today, Hostelworld holds its AGM, while later in the week Providence Resources and Tesco have AGMs on Thursday and Friday respectively.

UK Brexit minister David Davis will today meet with EU chief negotiator Michel Barnier in Brussels to discuss the status of talks before an EU leaders' summit later this month.

This will be followed tomorrow by a 12-hour session in the Westminster parliament on Brexit legislation during which numerous amendments are due to be tabled.

President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un are due to meet in Singapore tomorrow.

Mr Trump aims to persuade the North Korean dictator to give up his nuclear arsenal in exchange for relief from US economic sanctions.
