Two more directors of Permanent TSB have bought shares in the bank, they confirmed on Tuesday in disclosures to Euronext Dublin.

Non-executive directors Julie O’Neill and Ken Slattery each purchased 10,000 shares. Ms O’Neill spent exactly €10,000 on Monday while Mr Slattery paid €10,300 on Tuesday.

This follows the July 26 purchases by Permanent TSB chief executive Jeremy Masding of 13,611 London-listed shares in the bank for £14,850 (€16,300) and by the bank’s chairman, Robert Elliott, of 16,500 Irish-listed shares for €19,500, or €1.20 each.

Those were the first purchases of Permanent TSB shares by any of the bank's senior management since the financial crash. Despite the public vote of confidence, the bank’s share price has continued to slide in subsequent weeks.

Permanent TSB shares have more than halved in value since hitting a 52-week high of €2.22 on Sept. 21, 2018, falling as low as €0.952 on August 15.

Another of the bank’s non-executive directors, Richard Pike, purchased 12,975 shares for €15,000, or €1.156 per share, on August 6.
