Motorola has unveiled the surprise hit of the IFA consumer electronics show, its Moto X smartphone.
The 5.2-inch device, which will be sold for €500, features real leather, wood or bamboo construction depending on what you choose when you buy.
It packs a quad core processor and comes with 16GB of storage.
The phone has Motorola's curved case styling but is 6mm in its thinnest section.
The phone has emerged as the surprise hit of the show, which has been dominated by lavish launches put on by Samsung, Sony and Nokia.
Motorola also announced its 360 smartwatch. The round device works with any Android phone and is based on Google's customised operating system for smartwatches.
The company also launched a budget five-inch smartphone , the Moto G.
