Supermodel Lily Cole has revealed her favourite fashion brand is ethical label Edun, owned by Bono and Ali Hewson
The 26-year-old, who only does select modelling gigs after completing her History of Art degree from Cambridge University, was speaking at the Dublin Web Summit earlier today.
She's the co-founder of impossible.com, a social network based on exchange out of goodwill.
Cole explained that after years of working in the fashion industry, she now looks into the background of where her clothes came from and has become involved with Edun recently.
"This designer, Edun that I'm wearing, where the clothes are manufactured in Africa to support," she explained. "There's a huge number of really fascinating companies that I would like to try to champion."
Last night, she enjoyed a dinner with fellow speaker Eva Longoria and Vanity Fair's Editor at Large Jemima Khan in Dublin.
