Big discounts are expected across the Xbox Live online store in the coming weeks, thanks to a new Spring Sale for digital deals

Microsoft has teased a major new Spring Sale that's on the way for Xbox live users.

Running from the 20th to the 28th of March, the Spring Sale will be offering discounts of up to 60 percent, with an extra 10 percent off for those using Xbox Live Gold. The offers will include games for Xbox One and Xbox 360 as well as movies and TVs and even some new console deals. It's not know if all of them will be available around the world as this note comes from the American website but digital discounts will certainly be spread around globally.

The inclusion of Xbox 360 is interesting as the Xbox One recently unlocked backwards compatability. So it's likely that many of the discounted Xbox 360 games will also work just fine on your Xbox One and should be much cheaper, so you can update your library easily with games you missed or classics that you really want to play again.

So stay tuned to Xbox Live at the end of March, and don't forget to sign up to Gold if you want more discounts
