Xbox One gets backwards compatibility for 16 more games

Another 16 games have been added to the Xbox One backwards compatibility programme, including Halo: Reach, Kane and Lynch 2, and Portal.

Xbox One backwards compatibility launched with 104 supported games last month. The second wave of supported games has been announced, which includes 16 new additions.

The list includes the likes of Halo: Reach, Kane & Lynch 2, Portal: Still Alive, Peggle, and Spelunky. Halo: Reach was the fifth most-requested title, according to Microsoft's user voting page with almost 95,000 votes.

Major Nelson's announcement post says that "more than 9 million hours" have been spent playing Xbox 360 games on Xbox One. The most popular titles have been Fallout 3, Gears of War 3, Just Cause 2, Assassin’s Creed II and DiRT 3.
