Ubisoft has confirmed that For Honor will have a single player experience to go alongside its multiplayer offering that will cater for up to eight players.

Ubisoft’s third-person action game, For Honor, will feature a single player mode, according to the publisher.

So far, we’ve only seen the multiplayer portion of the game in which fighters from three different factions fight using melee-weapons.

Producer Stephane Cardin confirmed that there will be a solo campaign featured in For Honor. In a newly released video, he said, “It's one of the key subjects we're working on the floor. I can't wait to show stuff to you guys and we'll do it as early as possible like we did with the multiplayer."

Ubisoft isn’t ready to show the solo campaign off just yet. All we’ve seen so far is from the multiplayer portion of the game, which sees up to 8 players square off in an arena armed with melee-weapons like axes and swords.

If For Honor flew under your radar at E3 2015, you can check out both a CGI intro and a live 4v4 demo from Ubisoft’s conference below.

For Honor is currently without a release date. It will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
