Trine makers have stealthy new game - play the demo and make the game cheaper

The makers of physics based platformer Trine are back with a new title already in the form of Shadwen - and it's a stealthy one

Here's an interesting one, Frozenbyte (the team behind the rather fun Trine series) have a demo for their new game called Shadwen. They want you to play it so much they've come up with a unique incentive - the more people who play and the higher they score the cheaper the full game will be when it releases.

Sounds neat, here's the trailer.

It looks like there are lots of different ways to take out your enemies and proceed undetected in the grand tradition of stealth games and the Trine series has been a lot of fun so far. Frozenbyte have given players five days to have their way with the demo to drive down that price by killing guards, killing everyone or being much quieter. The price started at $35 and is down to just over $29 at the time of writing.

Of course Frozenbyte won't ever be giving the game away for free and this will amount to a once off discount at launch but it's still a fun mechanic and should draw in some more demo players. You can grab the demo files from Steam, GOG and Humble Bundle right now and the game seems to be launching very soon on PC.
