Tinder now lets you snap and upload pictures

Emma Clark

Tinder has made a variety of improvements, letting you upload pictures from your Camera Roll, send GIFs, and preview links.

Previously, you had to upload photos to Facebook before you could use them on Tinder. If you didn't want to let Facebook friends know what you were up to with a barrage of new images and selfies, this involved posting pictures that only you could see.

Tinder users can now upload pictures from their camera roll. So if you want to snap a selfie and quickly upload it to help you find a potential match, you can.

In other Tinder-related news, the app now lets you send GIFs to people in chat. If a picture says a thousand words, then GIFs do so much more. Be careful though; you don't want to showcase that you spend far too much time finding GIFs for use in any occasion.

Tinder has also added "peek and pop" 3D Touch support for the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. This lets you preview a link sent in chat before you commit to viewing it.

Are you excited for your next date?
