This site shows if your partner is using Tinder

Daniel Anderson

The Tinder app has become an incredibly popular way to find other singles and connect with them through simple swipes, but who else is on there?

The Tinder app has become synonymous with online dating - in a few simple swipes you can connect with other people who are interested and getting chatting and where it goes from there is up to consenting adults.

But while its all good fun for singletons, it's also being used by people in relationships - and now you can find out if your other half is also spending time scouting around on Tinder. A site called Swipebuster lets you fill in information like a name, age and location and will search its database for matches. Then it will spit out what it can find, including a photo. Naturally this service doesn't come for free, with each search costing $5.

This kind of information is publically available through Tinder's API, so it doesn't involve actually breaching any security. If you're on Tinder, you've agreed to share this data with anyone who is interested, and that also means your significant other if they choose to investigate.

Tinder's response? "If you want to see who's on Tinder we recommend saving your money and downloading the app for free."
