This may be Nokia's first handset in years
Images have appeared online that seemingly showcase the handset that Nokia is working on now that it can release handsets again.
Images have appeared online that apparently show us what Nokia's first handset since the sale of the Lumia brand will look like.
A post on social network Weibo shows off an all-metal handset, which looks like the HTC One A9 or iPhone 6S from the rear. An alternative angle makes it look a bit more rectangular and chunkier.
Nokia was unable to release handsets in recent years after the sale of the Lumia brand to Microsoft. That non-compete clause has lapsed, so Nokia can get back in the game. But rather than jumping in at the deep end, Nokia appears to be experimenting with the low-end market first. This handset will reportedly come with a very low pricetag, so don't expect too much from its specs or design.
