The Witcher 3 DLC cover - release date leaked?
The Witcher Wild Hunt has a new DLC pack called Blood and Wine and the official cover has been revealed alongside a potential release leak
The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt has already had a major DLC pack in 2015 called Hearts of Stone and there's a second on the way.
Blood and Wine was announced a long time ago and CD Project RED has been pretty quiet on any details about when it will release. Today, we have the first new information in months with official cover art for the DLC.
It is rather pretty.
It looks like Geralt is going to having some trouble of the wing-ed kind in this new story, which is said to include at least 20 more hours of talking, slaying and sometimes bedding. There's also wine in the image, but not really much in the way of blood.
Now the publishers are sticking to the release window of 'the first half of 2016' but some new info has leaked out courtesy of a Polish gaming website. They had a release date of the 7th of June up for a very short amount of time before it was taking down. That date seems pretty reasonable given how long it has been since the last DLC, and also ties in with what CDPR have been saying to date.
Of course this isn't official news but with the cover just revealed we can expect more news on Blood and Wine very soon.
