The Division players have been exploiting an area to earn Phoenix Credits, something that Ubisoft plans to address in an update.

The Division will be patched later today and the loot cave that players have been exploiting for Phoenix Credits may be hit hard.

Phoenix Credits are exchanged for blueprints for some of the best guns in The Division. But until players found this trick, they were notoriously hard to come by.

There is an area near the Autumn’s Hope safehouse with a group of enemies accompanied by a Level 30 boss known as the Bullet King. Being a boss, Bullet King can drop Phoenix Credits as well as Superior or High End gear.

Players figured out that killing the boss, but ignoring the companions, and respawning at Autumn’s Hope resulted in him respawning too, which in turn allowed them to reap massive rewards from killing him over and over again.

Ubisoft is aware of the trick and is working on a fix. It may be included in an update, which will be released today. If you want to earn a lot of Phoenix Credits quickly, you should take advantage of this while it lasts.
