Did you know there's a game based on the life of 'star' Kim Kardashian? And that it's a massive money spinner for the celeb
Kim Kardashian Hollywood is an actual honest to goodness mobile video game which released in 2014. And it turns out shedloads of people are playing it.
The game sees you creating your own 'aspiring celebrity' and heading out on an adventure to become famous. You'll meet other celebs, rule the red carpet as a model, actor, designer or something else and become king or queen of your own virtual world. You can go to hip parties and hook up with real famous folks and, of course, connect with friends over Facebook.
Here's what it looks like.
Sheesh. So you would imagine that something like this would crash and burn and never be heard from again right? Wrong - Hollywood has made more than $100 million to date, according to figures from developers Glu Mobile. More than 42 million people have downloaded it, logging more than 35,000 collective years in game. The money comes from microtransactions where you can buy things in game with real world cash.
If you haven't got on board yet, there's a Kendall and Kylie Jenner game out now, and a Taylor Swift one coming soon.
