Superbowl 2016 is a sporting thing with lots of ads attached, including promos for some of the biggest movies coming soon

There was definitely some American football played yesterday but some of the appeal of the Superbowl is seeing the biggest films of the year throwing up new spots in an attempt to woo the massive audience. And we've got all the videos right here.

Most of the promos are 30 seconds long to get maximum exposure for minimum time - even that length of ad could cost as much as $5 million. Which is kind of insane. Check out new spots for Captain America Civil War, X-Men Apocalypse, Independence Day Resurgence, Jason Bourne, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 and a long trailer for The Jungle Book below.

And why not a little taste of Deadpool as well.

Right so - the clash in Civil War still looks interesting and there's not much to see in X-Men. Jason Bourne is light on content as well but it's good to know that Matt Damon still remembers everything, his memory has been a bit of a problem over the last few years. We're still surprised that Independence Day is back and those Turtles are dodging exploding things again. Without a doubt the best moment of all though is Christopher Walken as some kind of ape godfather in The Jungle Book. Genius.
