Street View now gives tours of stadiums

Mark O'Beirne

Google's Street View now lets you take to the pitch in a variety of stadiums and arenas. Even stadium tours don't get you this close!

Google's Street View lets you visit a variety of exotic destinations like the Great Barrier Reef, Half Moon Island, and the Amazon rainforest. Now, it's taking you inside some spectacular stadiums and arenas.

If you've ever wanted to stand on the pitch of Seattle Seahawks' CenturyLink Field, at half court in the AT&T Center (San Antonio Spurs), or Dick's Sporting Good's Park (Colorado Rapids), now you can!

There are several stadiums and arenas available to see up-close-and-personal, so take a look through Google Street View now. It seems to be mainly focused on US stadiums at the moment, though you can check out user photospheres from other stadiums from around the world.

Google's Street View is available via maps on Android, iOS, and desktop.
