Star Fox Zero short is Anime madness
There's a new game in the Star Fox series coming out this week for the Wii U - it's called Star Fox Zero and comes with its own anime
Star Fox Zero is coming out exclusively on the Wii U this week and the game has its own anime which looks pretty stunning.
You can see the short below, which runs around 13 minutes and features most of the main characters. The animation is pretty stunning, and the action might even be more intense than what you're going to see in the game!
There's Fox McCloud, introducing his team called Starfox - Slippy Toad and Falco Lombardi. You also get a look at some new enemies, who look like particularly icky spiders, and the transforming mechanic which will add some new gameplay options when you're flying and dying. And the ending shows off a glimpse of the big bad - who we're going to go ahead and admit looks a bit like Marvel's Thanon.
It's fun stuff and keenly targeted to the potential audience for the game. Early reviews for Star Fox Zero have been fairly mixed, with praise for the fast pace and a lot of issues with the unusual control scheme. It's out on the 22nd of April, 2016.
