Samsung today unveiled pink gold versions of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, which will be released in South Korea first followed by select markets.

Samsung today announced that the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will soon be available in pink gold.

The smartphone manufacturer made the announcement in a blog post. Pink gold provides a “sense of comfort,” according to the company,” and is intended to "soothe and incorporate a touch of gentleness, radiance and sophistication."

Samsung also said that “these hues glitter and shimmer as if illuminated from inside their glass surfaces.”

The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are currently available in black onyx, gold platinum, white pearl and silver titanium. Pink gold will soon be added to that list.

The pink gold handsets will be released in South Korea on April 20th, and will make their way to “select markets” in the near future.
