Over the top sports and cars title Rocket League is set to get a retail release in a special collectors edition in the near future

Rocket League has been a huge success since launching in PS4 and PC back in July 2015 - mostly because its an accessible slice of insanity involving super fast RC style cars playing death defying football in vibrant arenas.

The game also recently made its digital debut on the Xbox One and now we're hearing that a physical release is on the way. The folks at developer Psyonix have teamed up with 505 Games to publish the Rocket League Collector's Edition in retail stores. This new release will include all of the DLC to date, including Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-cars, the Back to the Future Car Pack and Chaos Run, as well as some new extras.

This version of the game is only coming to Xbox One and PS4 for the moment, sorry PC fans, and is aiming at a Q3 release date. More as we get it.
