OnePlus could have yet another handset coming out soon with news that the OnePlus 2 Mini is being certified by the Chinese manufacturer
Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has had a very busy 2015 - launching the well reviewed 'smartphone killer' the OnePlus 2 and also bringing a smaller cheaper OnePlus X to market, while at the same time making it easier than ever to actually buy their handsets. And it seems they're not planning to slow down in 2016.
Rumours have been circulating for awhile about a possible OnePlus 2 Mini varient - a fast smartphone with a smaller screen and (presumably) a lower price point. Now a new phone from OnePlus codenamed One E1000 has been certified in China and there are some specs.
The E1000 looks quite like the OnePlus X but features a larger 4.9 inch screen at 1080 resolution. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, making it seriously fast, plus 3 gigs of RAM. You'll find 16 gigs of storage on board which can be expanded with microSD as well as a 13 megapixel shooter on the back and 8 megapixel sensor on the front.
As of right now OnePlus hasn't so much as mentioned a new handset so this could all be speculation but we wouldn't be surprised to have a surprise new year annoucement from the company.
