New iPhone 7 leak shows off redesigned handset
The iPhone 7 has been outed once more, it seems, with the rear of the device on display. This gives us an idea of some changes incoming.
Apple has its hands full at the moment. There’s the March 21st event where it’s expected to announce a smaller iPhone and a new iPad, an ongoing legal battle with the FBI and Department of Justice, and the iPhone 7 coming later in the year.
A new leak shows off what we can expect from the iPhone 7. The image, posted on Nowhereelse.fr, shows off the rear of the device. It indicates that the handset will be graced by a larger camera lens and an absence of the antenna line.
There’s no sign of the rumoured dual-camera setup, which could point to that feature being exclusive to the iPhone 7 Plus. But the larger camera hole alone indicates that a major upgrade could be on the way. With the camera acting as a major battle ground for handset manufacturers, it’s good to see a suggestion that Apple is ready to up its game.
Of course, nothing is official until Apple CEO Tim Cook takes to the stage and announces the iPhone 7. It’s expected that the handset will be announced in September.
