New Hitman update breaks the game

The brand new Hitman game has been released and players are getting to grips with the killing - and also breaking stuff

IO Interactive has just released an all new Hitman game and the early reviews are mixed to positive, which is about what was expected for this odd episodic experiment. And now it's broken.

The latest 1.2 patch on PlayStation 4 is aimed at fixing some of the problems with the game, which has already been notoriously unstable, but it hasn't quite worked, with more disconnections since players have downloaded it, along with some HUD issues. More significantly, the pre order DLC content The Requiem Pack and Blood Money Pack have disappeared from the game.

The developers are working on a fix right now but when you consider how small this release is in terms of content, with only a single main level at launch, cutting players off from any additional DLC is bound to cause issues. For now, if you don't have to play and update and PS4 maybe leave the game off until IO have another fix in place.
