LG announces all-metal LG Zero
LG today announced its first all-metal handset, the LG Zero, which has a solid aluminium body. It's out in Taiwan this week with Europe to follow later.
LG has produced its first all-metal handset, the LG Zero, which will go on sale in Taiwan this week. It will later go on sale further afield in “key markets” in Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
The LG Zero has a solid aluminium body, though LG says that the handset’s edges have an “Arc Glass” design, which gives it a slimmer profile. The handset features a 5.0-inch In-Cell Touch IPS display for fast recognition, better outdoor visibility, and crisper images.
Internally, the LG Zero packs a 1.2GHz quad-core processor along with 1.5GB RAM. It offers 16GB of internal storage, though this can be further expanded with a microSD card.
It utilises camera features from the G4, including Gesture Shot, Gesture View and Gesture Interval Shot, and has a 13 megapixel camera on the rear and an 8 megapixel camera on the front.
The LG Zero will be released in Taiwan this week and more details will be released about its availability elsewhere in the near future.
