Instagram testing multiple account support on Android

Instagram is testing a much requested feature on Android, but only with select users for the time being. Users can now switch between multiple accounts.

Instagram is testing out the much requested multiple account support on Android.

The feature, as the name implies, allows Instagram users to log into another account on their Android handset. They can then jump between these accounts rather than having to log out and in again.

It’s easy to set up if the feature has been enabled for you. All you have to do is go to the app’s settings and tap “Add Account.” You’re then given the option to log in with your other account or create a new one. Once you’re set up, you can find the account selector in the top right of your display.

This is a feature that Instagram users have been requesting for quite some time. Multiple account support is currently only available to select Android users. Instagram has not yet said when, or even if, it will be rolled out to more Android users or to those on iOS.
