Facebook is rolling out support for Apple's Live Photos, which may liven up your News Feed.
Live Photos are a new feature on the latest iPhones that allow users to capture a three-second video surrounding the time that a photo is taken. Apple's description reads, "At the heart of a Live Photo is a beautiful 12-megapixel photo. But together with that photo are the moments just before and after it was taken, captured with movement and sound."
Facebook is currently testing the support of this feature globally with a small number of iPhone 6s and 6s Plus users. But it plans to expand availability next year.
Select users will be able to share Live Photos in the coming days from Facebook's iOS app. But you'll need to use a device running iOS 9 to see them in action. Otherwise you'll just see a regular photo.
