HTC's next phone could have a new name
HTC looks like it might be renaming it's OneM lineup in 2016, with the latest leak pointing to a more streamlined moniker
HTC definitely has a new handset on the way, and the company is officially using the #PowerOf10 to talk about the phone on social media - and it turns out that might be telling.
The latest leak is suggesting that HTC might be making a change to the way it names the flagship handsets, previously called the One M8 and One M9. They're pretty clunky titles and celebrated tipster Evan Blass is saying that they could instead by called the HTC 10 this time around.
It's definitely a better name - no one knew what the 'M' stood for anyway - and hopefully will see a change of direction for the manufacturer, which has been losing market share in recent years. Blass also suggests that the handset could launch on the 19th of April 2016, so we should have official word soon.
