HTC One M10 expected to come in two variants
HTC may release two versions of the One M10, one with a Qualcomm chip and the other with a MediaTek processor, aimed at different markets.
A recent report suggested that we won't see the HTC One M10 at Mobile World Congress in February, but that hasn't stopped leaks from emerging.
The latest indicates that the handset will be released in two variants. One, which is expected to be released in North America and Europe, will utilise the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, while the other, which may be released in China and South-East Asia, will pack a MediaTek chip.
That's according to @LlabTooFeR, though they didn't mention which MediaTek chip will be featured in the Asian variant. It has also been suggested that the HTC One M10 may run Android Marshmallow v6.0.1 with HTC Sense 8.0 layered over it.
HTC is expected to hold a dedicated One M10 event in March with the release of the phone coming in April.
