HTC 10 specs leaked

HTC is expected to announce the HTC 10 in April, but a new leak may have just revealed more details about the upcoming handset.

HTC’s upcoming flagship, simply called the HTC 10 if rumours are to be believed, is expected to launch in April. Now, we know a little more about the handset thanks to a new specs leak.

The HTC 10 is now tipped to feature a 5.15-inch QHD Super LCD 5 display rather than an AMOLED screen as previously thought. A Super LCD screen has no air gaps between the display and the outer glass, which means it offers greater visibility than a traditional LCD screen.

Serial tipster Evan Blass revealed this info along with details about its battery. The HTC 10 is expected to feature a 3,000mAh battery, an improvement to the One M9’s 2,840mAh battery.

Previous leaks indicate that the HTC 10 will boast a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, a 12MP camera, and a USB Type-C port.

There’s nothing officially known about its launch date just yet, but it’s believed that HTC will host an event in April where it will unveil the new handset.
