Nintendo showed off 13 seconds of footage from 2016's The Legend of Zelda Wii U. It's not much, but it does look glorious!

Nintendo made a few Legend of Zelda related announcements during its latest Nintendo Direct conference. Included in the presentation was a brief glimpse at The Legend of Zelda Wii U.

There's only 13 seconds of footage, but it's better than nothing. We get to see Link riding Epona through a field. It's very pretty!

You can see the footage from 3:17 in the Nintendo Direct video. The Legend of Zelda Wii U will be released sometime in 2016.

Nintendo also revealed that Linkle is coming to Hyrule Warriors Legends, that Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass will be launching on the Wii U eShop, and announced Twilight Princess HD.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD will be released on Wii U on March 4th, 2016. It will get improved graphics, new gameplay mechanics, and will be influenced by Legend of Zelda-themed Amiibo. Nintendo teased that data saved to the Wolf Link Amiibo will be able to carry over to the new Zelda title.
